Teresa Gordoa is a pastor’s wife who has served alongside her husband as an administrative pastor for over thirty years. As a Bible school graduate, she lived for five years on the Irish mission field and has gone on more than twenty mission trips. Over the years, she and her husband saw the need for churches to come together and reach their communities for Christ. This need inspired their creation of this kids’ camp model for churches of all sizes to implement in their cities. With a heart to reach families for Christ all over the world, Teresa has led many of these camps at home and abroad. When not surrounded by hundreds of kids, she loves spending time with her family and friends in the Texas Panhandle.
Lisa Green is a dedicated church employee who has worked with the Cities4Kids camps and events for many years. She assists in the church office daily, and has used her creativity to design curriculum and ministry plans for both the church and Cities4Kids.Though she loves to serve and work with computers, her inspiration for working with Cities4Kids is watching what God does in the lives of the teenagers and young adults who serve at the camps. She also enjoys quilting and spoiling her grandkids.
Nathen is currently attending university to get a biology degree, and plans to become an educator and coach. He’s also an active member of his church, and has been a part of Cities4Kids for ten years. He has gone on many Cities4Kids missions trips, and is currently assisting with camp administration. His inspiration for serving is knowing how much of an impact you can make on families in so many different situations. His goal is to serve God in any capacity God has set before him, including in kids and youth ministry in his local church. In addition to his desire to reach others for Jesus, he loves the outdoors, sports, and anything adventurous.
Nicki Georgiana is the Children’s Director and bookkeeper at Grace Fellowship in Kearney, NE. She has been serving there for seventeen years and has been on more than fifteen mission trips. With a degree in psychology and a passion for kids, Nicki says, “Cities4Kids is the best of both worlds, combining knowing why children do what they do behaviorally, and having the opportunity to train them how to live with Jesus!” Her favorite part of camp is seeing a child understand who they are created to be, and then having the confidence to tell their families, neighbors, teachers, and future generations. In her spare time, she loves to read. If not found with a book, she is traveling or spending time with family.
Nicole Ramirez, a first-year student in the Coram Deo program at Abundant Life, has dedicated herself to serving and ministering to her church community.
